Med spa marketing

Med spa marketing that books consults, and stays inside the rules

A medical spa marketing agency for independent med spas and aesthetic practices. People search for a treatment, not a business. We build the pages, ads and front desk that turn that search into a booked consult.

Search starts with the treatment

Med spa patients rarely search for “med spa” first. They search for a treatment, a concern, or a brand name they saw online, and then for where to get it nearby. That makes the treatment page the front door of your practice, not the home page. Our guide to med spa SEO covers how those local searches are ranked.

We build a clear page for each treatment you want to grow: what it is, who it may suit, who performs it, what a consult covers, and how to book one. These pages carry your local SEO and give your ads a relevant place to land. Treatments you no longer offer come off the site, so nobody books a consult for something you do not do. If you offer IV drips or vitamin injections, read IV therapy clinic marketing before you write those pages. Hair restoration services have their own device and claim rules, covered in hair restoration clinic marketing.

What we look at first

  • Which treatments bring the most consult requests
  • Whether each treatment has a page worth landing on
  • How fast a consult request gets a reply
  • What callers ask about price before they book

The consult is the conversion

For most aesthetic treatments the real goal is not a form fill. It is a consult that happens and a patient who shows up. We track calls, forms and booking requests by treatment, so you can see which pages and campaigns bring consults and not just clicks. Where your booking system can confirm that a consult happened, we use that too.

Speed matters. Someone comparing three med spas will often book with the first one that answers. That is where the AI front desk helps most.

Before and after photos, done properly

Before and after photos are some of the most useful content a med spa has, and some of the easiest to get wrong. We only publish photos you provide with written patient permission for marketing use. We do not retouch them in ways that change the result, and lighting, angle and timing should match between the two shots.

The FTC expects that results shown in advertising are not misleading. If a photo shows an outcome most patients should not expect, it needs clear context about typical results. We add the treatment, the provider and an honest note on that context next to each set. Our guide to med spa website design covers galleries, treatment pages and reviews in more detail. For patient authorization and the FTC rules behind testimonials and photos, see patient testimonials and before-and-after photos.

Our photo checklist

  • Written patient permission on file at your practice
  • No edits that change the treated area
  • Matching light, angle and framing
  • Clear context on what results to expect

Ad policy limits on some treatments

Ad platforms restrict ads that promote prescription-only medicines, and some injectables and weight-loss treatments fall under those rules. In the United States, Google currently allows prescription drug brand names in ad text and on landing pages, but using them as keywords requires Google certification. Policies change, so we check the current rules for each treatment before a campaign goes live, and we write ads about the treatment, the provider and the consult, not about the reader’s appearance or health. Practices that also offer surgery should read plastic surgeon marketing.

Read healthcare ad policy basics, or our guide to Google Ads for med spas for injectables, weight loss and before-and-after rules. For memberships, gift cards, reviews and other ideas within these rules, see med spa marketing ideas. If you offer payment plans, read advertising payment plans and patient financing before you put a monthly price in an ad, and for pricing basics and renewal rules see med spa memberships and treatment packages.

Pricing questions on the phone

“How much is it?” is often the first thing a med spa caller asks. Some practices publish prices, some give ranges, some only quote after a consult. Any of these can work. What hurts is a caller who gets no answer and no next step.

We help you choose a pricing approach for the site and set up the AI front desk to say the same thing: a price, a range, or an honest “it depends on your consult” followed by an offer to book one. It never invents a price and never promises a result.

AI front desk for consult requests

Powered by our own JaneJack.ai. It answers questions about treatments you offer, hours and location, takes consult requests or books into the slots you allow, and hands anything clinical, such as whether a treatment is safe for a specific person, to your provider. It gives no medical advice.

How the AI front desk works

Med spa marketing questions

Can you run Google Ads for Botox or other injectables?

Often yes, within limits. In the United States, Google allows prescription drug names such as Botox in ad text and on landing pages, but using them as keywords requires certification. Ads describe the treatment and the consult, and we check the current policy for each treatment before launching.

Will you use our before and after photos?

Only with written patient permission held by your practice, without edits that change the result, and with clear context on typical results.

Should we put prices on the website?

That is your call. We will talk through the trade-offs in the review and make sure the site and the AI front desk give the same answer.

Can the AI front desk answer treatment questions?

It can explain which treatments you offer and what a consult covers, using information you approve. Questions about whether a treatment is right or safe for a specific person go to your provider.

Do you run social media for med spas?

Our focus is the website, local SEO, Google Ads with tracking, and the AI front desk. We can make sure social traffic lands on the right treatment pages and is tracked.
